Better Evidence for Children and Youth

In cooperation with the Jacobs Foundation (JF), we are pleased to announce the creation of a new program providing funding for Campbell Systematic Reviews on topics related to children and youth.

JF is a Swiss charitable foundation which seeks to advance child and youth development, education, welfare, and behaviour. It has strong commitment to evidence-based policies, interventions and programs. Yet the evidence base for program effectiveness in these areas is often weak.

The Campbell Collaboration – Jacobs Foundation Program on Better Evidence for Children and Youth will provide funding for three systematic reviews in each of the next three years on topics to be announced later.

Prof. Martin Killias, co-chair of Campbell’s Crime and Justice Group, describes this initiative as an important opportunity to improve services for children and youth by improving the evidence base for policy and practice.
