Campbell and the German Institute for Development Evaluation (DEval) will bring together policy-makers, practitioners, and researchers/evaluators to discuss evidence-based policy-making and evidence-based program design for development effectiveness in Bonn, Germany on 9 and 10 May 2019.
The conference aims to address the question "How can Germany’s development cooperation become more effective?".
There will be several speakers from Campbell presenting at the event, including Board member Daniel Ortega of the Development Bank of Latin America, Campbell CEO Howard White, as well as the Editors of the Campbell International Development Coordinating Group Hugh Waddington and Birte Snilstveit. Campbell Editor in Chief Vivian Welch will speak about a systematic review on mass deworming and Campbell Evidence Synthesis Specialist Ashrita Saran will present an evidence and gap map on reduce violence against children.
