9 May 2018, New Delhi, India - Evidence uptake to action: Funder and researcher perspectives

ISID Complex, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi

The use of research to inform policy is high on the agenda. How do funders approach funding research which will be used to inform policy and practice? And what do researchers see as constraints in achieving this?

The Campbell Collaboration will host a roundtable to discuss the experiences of various organisations in supporting and producing policy-relevant research, and activities to encourage uptake. The participants will shed light on their challenges and successes, and experiences in translating evidence into action. The outcome of the workshop will be to create a platform for congregating demand, and convergence of efforts towards 'evidence uptake for action'.
