The Campbell Collaboration's Methods Policy Briefs provide specific guidance for authors, reviewers, and consumers on the topics of research design, information retrieval, statistical analysis, and economic methods.
Information retrieval
This brief (a) identifies the key issues faced by reviewers when gathering information for a review, (b) proposes different approaches in order to guide the work of the reviewer during the information retrieval phase, and (c) provides examples that demonstrate these approaches.
Economic methods
This brief (a) provides reviewers with guidance on the use of economic methods, (b) outlines the reasons for including the economic aspects of interventions in a review, (c) outlines the key elements of a methodological framework, and (d) proposes methodological standards for the economics component of C2 reviews.
