The Campbell Collaboration Countering Violent Extremism evidence synthesis programme is a global research initiative to use rigorous and relevant evidence to inform policy and practice. The programme produces high quality evidence reviews on
- effective interventions to prevent and counter radicalization and violent extremism and their harmful impacts
- tools and strategies used when intervening with individuals radicalizing to violence, or other audiences affected by violent extremism
- approaches to measuring performance and outcomes appropriate for or tailored to CVE
- ways in which CVE connects with and complements other areas of prevention, such as against targeted violence and hate.
This is a rolling research programme. More information is available about completed and on-going studies. Research teams can also register their interest in being considered to conduct a review under this programme.
