We are delighted to welcome four new members to the Board of Directors of the Campbell Collaboration. Each brings deep expertise in evidence-informed decision-making and experience working across regions, sectors, and disciplines. We look forward to their collective expertise and global perspectives helping to guide the Campbell Collaboration’s work and priorities in the years ahead.

Caitlin Blaser Mapitsa, PhD, is an Associate Professor in Monitoring and Evaluation at the University of the Witwatersrand School of Governance, where she leads research on evaluation systems and evidence use in complex socio-ecological contexts.
She has built coalitions across Africa to promote evidence-informed, justice-oriented decision-making across civil society, parliaments, governments, and development organizations. Her work focuses on strengthening national and regional evaluation systems in African contexts and bridging the gap between evidence production and its use in policy.
Daniel F. Patiño-Lugo, PhD, is a professor at the University of Antioquia Faculty of Medicine and co-founder and co-director of the Unit of Evidence and Deliberation for Decision Making (UNED), which uses evidence synthesis to inform decisions in health, education, and climate policy.
He also co-directs the Evidence Hub of Latin America and the Caribbean (HubLAC), connecting evidence intermediaries with decision-makers across sectors. He holds a PhD in Health Policy from McMaster University and brings expertise in knowledge translation, health policy, and implementation research.

Dr. Pamela Cajilig, PhD, is an applied anthropologist and Professorial Lecturer at the University of the Philippines College of Architecture, and a Senior Atlantic Fellow for Health Equity in Southeast Asia at the Equity Initiative and the Atlantic Institute of the Rhodes Trust.
She is the co-founding President and Research Director of Curiosity Design Research, which has completed over 300 research and capacity-building initiatives for clients across five continents. Her work combines ethnography, co-design, systems thinking, and policy engagement to strengthen disaster governance, climate resilience, and local decision-making in complex contexts.
Dr. Patrick Mbah Okwen is an award-winning Cameroonian researcher, economist, and evidence synthesist specializing in evidence-informed decision-making across health, education, and climate development.
He leads the eBASE Teaching and Learning Toolkit, an evidence platform supporting policymakers and practitioners across Cameroon, Chad, Niger, and Nigeria. His work focuses on strengthening evidence ecosystems, with expertise in knowledge translation, implementation, and systematic review training.

The Campbell Collaboration is an international social science research network. Campbell groups coordinate the production and promote the use of high-quality, policy-relevant evidence syntheses such as systematic reviews and evidence and gap maps which are published in our open access journal, Campbell Systematic Reviews, and used by policymakers around the world.
