Campbell journal to be included in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)

Campbell Systematic Reviews has been accepted for inclusion in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), which offers researchers publishing in the journal greater visibility of their work. Inclusion in the ESCI demonstrates the journal’s editorial rigor and commitment to quality. It is also a step forward on the path to achieving an Impact Factor for the journal.

Journals selected for ESCI are indexed with the current and previous two years of content, and indexing should be completed by mid-March 2021. Research published in Campbell Systematic Reviews will be discoverable through the Web of Science Core Collection, which makes journal content visible to researchers, funders and key opinion leaders. Items in ESCI are searchable, discoverable and citable. This can help researchers to identify potential collaborators and measure the impact of their research at a discipline level.

Researchers who are interested in publishing in the journal Campbell Systematic Reviews will find more information here: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/page/journal/18911803/homepage/submit-a-proposal. Campbell also welcomes proposals for retrospective registration of protocols or reviews published elsewhere.

About the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)

  • ESCI is part of Clarivate’s Web of Science Core Collection, containing quality publications, selected for editorial rigor and best practice
  • Journals included in ESCI must be peer reviewed, contain bibliographic information in English, follow ethical publication practices, and have a print and/or electronic format
  • Items in ESCI are searchable, discoverable, and citable so researchers can measure the contribution of an article in specific disciplines and identify potential collaborators for expanded research
