Research Watch selects “exceptional” Campbell review

The Campbell review Kinship care for the safety, permanency, and well-being of children removed from the home for maltreatment has been profiled by Research Watch, an inter-university collaborative learning partnership that tracks the major journals monthly.  Part of the Canadian Child Welfare Research Portal, the group selects and produces concise reviews of exceptional articles on child welfare.

Research Watch commends the methods utilized for Campbell systematic reviews such as transparency, vetting by experts and rigorousness.  This same Campbell review earlier won the Leonard E. Gibbs Award for the finest systematic review published in 2007-2008.
