The Introductory Methods

The following training videos provide an introduction to the purpose of systematic reviews and their basic elements. Who is the intended audience of these videos?

•    Researchers interested in carrying out a systematic review
•    Researchers whom desire a “refresher” in systematic reviewing
•    Policymakers interested in learning more about systematic reviews and evidence-based policy

The videos below were recorded during the August 2011 Campbell Colloquium at George Mason University (Washington, D.C.), and the May 2013 Campbell Colloquium at Loyola University Chicago (Chicago, IL).
 
Problem Formulation
 
These training videos guide viewers through the development of a research question for Campbell Review Protocols.  They also include an overview of other important issues to consider while formulating a comprehensive synthesis question.
