The future of SFI Campbell - the Nordic Campbell Centre, is secured and strengthened, as the centre is granted both permanent and increased funding by the Danish Parliament.

In an international perspective, the Danish Parliament has made a unique both large and long term commitment to evidence-based public policy. And this will have a decisive effect on people's opportunity to make well-informed decisions - a key quality of a truly democratic society.
Permanent funding is granted after 7 years on temporary grants. Since the opening of the centre, SFI Campbell has received an annual grant of a little over DKK 5 mill. From 2009 and onwards, the annual grant has been increased by 20% - to DKK 6 mill. (€ 0,8 mill. or US$ 1 mill.).
