The future of SFI Campbell - the Nordic Campbell Centre, is secured and strengthened, as the centre is granted both permanent and increased funding by the Danish Parliament.

Director of SFI Campbell Merete Konnerup comments.
- I am very pleased indeed to get this resounding endorsement and vote of confidence for the work done at the centre. In an international perspective, the Danish Parliament has made a unique both large and long term commitment to evidence-based public policy. And this will have a decisive effect on people's opportunity to make well-informed decisions - a key quality of a truly democratic society.

Permanent funding is granted after 7 years on temporary grants. Since the opening of the centre, SFI Campbell has received an annual grant of a little over DKK 5 mill. From 2009 and onwards, the annual grant has been increased by 20% - to DKK 6 mill. (€ 0,8 mill. or US$ 1 mill.).
