Public Policy Seminar & Festival of Social Science Event: Will it Work in Scotland?
15 - 16 March 2010, Edinburgh, Scotland
All of those who produce systematic reviews share strategic interests in making the best use of existing evidence and policy transfer. A key issue is the applicability of findings from one context to another. For example, will the intervention work in Scotland? At the same time, anticipated public spending constraint has increased the importance of making better use of existing evidence. Both debate and practical training are on the agenda.
This collaborative event is organised in March as both a public policy seminar for the Economic & Social Research Council (ESRC) and the Scottish Government as well as an ESRC Festival of Social Science Event. Both debate and practical training are on the agenda.
