Biography for Hiroshi Tsutomi
Hiroshi Tsutomi is Associate Professor at the University of Shizuoka, Japan. He has worked for the Ministry of Justice of Japan before taking the current position, serving as a professor of the United Nations Asia and Far Institute for the Prevention of Crime and the Treatment of Offenders, Professor at the Training Institute for Correctional Personnel and researcher for the Japanese Correctional Association. He has also worked in juvenile institutions for delinquents. He is author of a number of crime and justice articles in Japanese publications and maintains the Japanese version of the CCJG website.
