Commitments
The Campbell Collaboration and the Crime & Justice Group are committed to the following principles:
- preparing rigorous systematic reviews of high-quality evaluations
- updating those reviews periodically to take into account new studies, cogent criticisms and methodological advances
- disseminating the reviews electronically to ensure rapid and widespread access
- using search strategies to ensure that all high-quality studies are taken into account and not just easy-to-get articles
- collaborating internationally to ensure worldwide coverage of the literature and the translation of review results into multiple languages
- establishing a multi-national and multi-interest editorial board so that reviews are relevant and written accessibly
- maintaining open processes to enable users to understand and criticize decisions made at each stage
- creating an accessible register of evaluation studies to help reviewers and provide a resource for others
