Crime and Justice Group

Commitments

The Campbell Collaboration and the Crime & Justice Group are committed to the following principles:

  • preparing rigorous systematic reviews of high-quality evaluations
  • updating those reviews periodically to take into account new studies, cogent criticisms and methodological advances
  • disseminating the reviews electronically to ensure rapid and widespread access
  • using search strategies to ensure that all high-quality studies are taken into account and not just easy-to-get articles
  • collaborating internationally to ensure worldwide coverage of the literature and the translation of review results into multiple languages
  • establishing a multi-national and multi-interest editorial board so that reviews are relevant and written accessibly
  • maintaining open processes to enable users to understand and criticize decisions made at each stage
  • creating an accessible register of evaluation studies to help reviewers and provide a resource for others
